Chef inspiration

Nigerian born (Benin) Italian chef, Tracy Eboigbodin. Born in Benin, Tracey later moved ot Italy where she won, Master Chef Italy. She shows her mixed heritage in the food she makes. Flavors, textures, tradition, and technique.

Materials palette

The goal is to replicate her Nigerian Italian fusion through design. Balancing Roman Italian arhchitecture with textiles and textures from Nigerian (and West African) design and culture.

Style: Afro Neoclassical design

1 point bar view

Mosaic and mosaic style tiles have been used in Italy dating back to Pompeii, the pattern begins the transition to a slightly more afro style.

1 Point from bar

The color palette for this restaurant is inspired by the colors in the Nigerian and Italian flags. A color representation of the journey Tracey took to become the chef that she is.
